Thomas Jefferson
"A wise and frugal government
... shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned."
Richard K Sorenson, U. S. Marine
Corps
Medal of Honor WW II
"We must dedicate ourselves to the principle that freedom
under God' is man's destiny. We must not only live our lives under
this principle, but also defend it unto death with the courage
of free men. Our country won its freedom in one generation, but
in one generation could also lose it."

"...Proclaim liberty through the land to all its inhabitants."

"President Kennedy and President Reagan understood
that the best way to put more money in people's wallets
is to leave it there in the first place. After all,
when you can keep most of what you earn, you have more
incentive to be productive and earn more. As your income
grows, you spend and save more. And that fuels economic
growth. But the long-term logic of this seems to escape
most liberals." --Edwin Feulner, quoted by "The
Federalist"

You
saw it here first, folks. Help for Enron may be on the
way. A news item tells us that members of Congress have
been scurrying to give back all campaign contributions
received in the past from Enron. Rumor has it that this
avalanche of cash may be sufficient to bail the company
out of its problems. A happy ending?

For a Fresh Congress . . .
- We need a constitutional amendment limiting congressional
terms.
- We need to replace career politicians with Citizen Legislators.
- We need Citizen Servants who come to Congress to serve.
- Citizen Servants who serve a few years, then return home

Our
Mission
The mission of Citizens for Term Limits is to mobilize American
citizens to seek an amendment to the United States Constitution
limiting the number of terms during which a person may hold
office in each house of the U. S. Congress, and to urge passage
of enabling legislation for such amendment by a two-thirds vote
in each house of Congress, and thereafter to press for ratification
by the several states.
Citizens for Term Limits needs you! More importantly, our
nation needs you. Our children and their unborn descendants
need you now!
