Denver, CO — U.S. Term Limits (USTL) the leader in the non-partisan national movement to limit terms for elected officials, welcomes Bridget Dandaraw-Seritt as Colorado State Director.

“Colorado is one of several states that will be a key focus for us in 2021,” says USTL’s National Field Director, Scott Tillman. “We are building up momentum and looking forward to successes in both chambers this upcoming legislative session under Bridget’s leadership.”

Bridget is Co-Founder of Canna-Patient Resource Connection, an
education and outreach organization that designs science-based cannabis education for beginners and advocates, creates marketing content for advocates, all while working to improve community support for moderate to severe patients using cannabis as therapy.

Bridget is also a published author and contributes to several publications including Yahoo! Life, Cannabis Culture, and The Mighty. She has directly worked on Colorado cannabis patient policy since 2014, helping to add several qualifying conditions, working with regulatory agencies to understand policy impacts on patients, and fighting policies that decrease access for the thousands of patients
across Colorado. Additionally, she works as a non-partisan political consultant on cannabis patient issues, has served on several local and state workgroups, and has presented at multiple industry events and conferences. CPRC works to train advocates and increase bipartisan awareness of the issues cannabis patients face. Canna-Patient Resource Connection’s education is used nationwide by physicians, medical cannabis centers, and patient advocacy groups.

In this state director role, Bridget is responsible for introducing the U.S. Term Limits resolutions in Colorado legislature, securing sponsors and identifying term limits champion lawmakers who will shepherd the measure through to a successful conclusion. Seritt is also tasked with directing the grassroots leadership teams who will engage volunteers and work to create opportunities for candidates and legislators to sign the term limits convention pledge as a key part of the overall strategy.
Twelve state legislators in Colorado have signed the term limits on Congress pledge. They are H16 Andres Pico, H22 Margot Herzl, H39 Mark Baisley, H48 Tonya Van Beber, H49 Michael Lynch, H60 Ron Hanks, H62 Donald Valdez, H63 Dan Woog, H64 Richard Holtorf, S01 Jerry Sonnenberg, S10 Larry Liston and S23 Barbara Kirkmeyer.
