As the largest grassroots organization focusing exclusively on term limits, we have amassed an army of supporters who would love to hear that you support their cause. Our organization does its best to promote lawmakers and candidates who sign the term limits pledge. Support from U.S. Term Limits start when a lawmaker or candidate signs the pledge. We typically do this via:
- press releases to your district (see PR example)
- emails to our supporters
- social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (see post example)
Once you have signed the pledge, take advantage of building upon the momentum— brand yourself as the pro-term limits candidate. Many voters have commented that it is tough to tell candidates apart on issues. By focusing on the issue of term limits in public forums, putting term limits in campaign ads and literature, you will stand out as the candidate who is best positioned to address dysfunction in Washington.
