New North Dakota Poll: 78% of Voters Support an Age Limit for Members of Congress
Fargo, North Dakota – According to a new survey conducted by RMG Research, an overwhelming 78% of North Dakota voters support an age limit for members of Congress so that no one older than 80 years old may be elected to serve in the state’s congressional delegation.
The poll, conducted from April 25 to May 1, 2024, also finds that, at the possibility of imposing age limits on members of Congress, 47% of unlikely North Dakotan voters became much more likely to vote. Additionally, most voters continue to support an age limit amendment even if it would remove candidates who they strongly support.
The survey of 532 registered voters in North Dakota was conducted online by RMG Research, Inc. in April 2024 using a representative sample to reflect North Dakota’s registered election voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 4.2 percentage points.
RMG Research is owned and operated by Scott Rasmussen.
