Rand Paul Featured Speaker at Dec 6 Beyond Party Lines Term Limits Panel
Washington, D.C. – The House Term Limits Caucus, in collaboration with U.S. Term Limits, is hosting a free, non-partisan, term limits panel featuring Senator Rand Paul, Representative Rod Blum, Representative Beto O’Rourke, and former Virginia Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli. Executive Director of U.S. Term Limits, Nick Tomboulides, will moderate the discussion.
Beyond Party Lines will begin with brief introductions from our panelists and conclude with a Q&A session, taking pre-submitted and live questions from the audience. This event will provide Members of Congress and their staff the opportunity to learn about the nature of public service and explain why the adoption of term limits will help our country.
According to the last nationwide poll on term limits conducted by Gallup, the term limits issue enjoys wide bipartisan support. The poll showed that 75% of Americans support congressional term limits. A super-majority of Americans have rejected the career politician model and want to replace it with citizen leadership. The way to achieve that goal is through congressional term limits.
