U.S. Term Limits is pleased to announce that Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), a dependable advocate for term limits in the Senate, has signed the U.S. Term Limits Presidential Pledge.
Paul, a Republican vying for the White House in 2016, signed the pledge after making term limits a part of his plan to “defeat the Washington machine.”
“We should term limit them all, fumigate the place and bring them home,” Paul said during a speech in Michigan last week.
Currently serving his first term, Paul has been one of the most vocal advocates for term limits since getting elected in 2010. He has repeatedly introduced the U.S. Term Limits Amendment bill, which would have limited the House of Representatives to three terms and the Senate to two.
