Term Limits Day Event in New Port Richey, FL on Feb. 27th!
With a renewed push to impose term limits on the U.S. Congress, a new national day has emerged from the term limits movement. The idea is simple enough. On February 27th each year, everyone is encouraged to make a show of public support for term limits.
Why February 27th?
February 27th commemorates the ratification of the 22nd Amendment in 1951 which imposed term limits on the president of the United States (that’s 68 years ago!). If term limits are good enough for the president, they’re good enough for Congress!
Please Come Out and Join Us Anytime between 2-8pm!
Join U.S. Term Limits and show your support by holding signs, calling your state legislator in support of term limits on Congress and Florida school board and handing out some information. Pick up your free term limits swag and enjoy a catered lunch.
